Going home

That's the end of our holiday trip to Ecuador. I wish I had taken notes so I could have told better and more accurate stories. Terry pointed out an error I made a few weeks ago, but oh well. I dare you to find it.

We have many wonderful memories of the country, the people, and our experiences. Now that Emily and Cayo are moving to Portland, we won't make this trip as often, but we are determined to return to the country that we love.

Here are a few parting images --

Comments:
I think one of the reasons I have been enchanted with your account is that it is obvious that Ecuador is full of people as in love with color as I am! (Even their sunsets seem to have more color than ours!) I have truly enjoyed all the beautiful pictures.
One of the things that I admire about the Grant family is that when you go to visit a place, you go expecting to love the place. No "ugly Americans" here. Thank you for the wonderful tour of Ecuador and for letting us share your holiday.

I was taken in by your composition of photos and descriptions of Ecuador. Thank you for such a wonderful, educational and creative blog.

I am going to Ecuador in 8 weeks to visit my family whom I haven't seen in 6 years and after reading your blog am very excited to once again visit the country of my ancestors.
Thanks Again.
